The Six Day War
In 1967, Israel was faced with a difficult decision. Israel’s neighboring Arab states(Jordan, Syria, Egypt and Iraq) armed themselves with a massive military in preparation for war against Israel.
After international diplomacy failed and seeing that war was inevitable, Israel’s elite air force and army was put into action to defend the country. Within Six days Israel disabled over 400 Arab planes and gained control of Judea, Samaria, Gaza, the Sinai peninsula and the Golan Heights.
