Israeli-made business jet
A new Israeli-made business jet has successfully completed its first
test flight!
The G-150 is capable of flying four passengers nonstop up to 2,700
nautical miles (the equivalent of flying from New York to Los Angeles)
at speeds of 650 miles per hour. The jet's Honeywell TFE731-40AR engines
can bring the jet to 45,000 feet which is well above commercial traffic
and weather.
At a price of 12.5 million dollars each, Israel Aircraft Industries
(IAI) Commercial Aircraft Group has already sold over 50 of the G-150
jets, with the first to be delivered in 2006.
